Questions, asked plainly.
Is this gambling advice?
No. We're tipsters who've built a method, and we share the picks. We're not licensed financial advisors. Treat it as a careful mate's tip, not investment advice.
Will I make money?
Maybe. Maybe not. Our method is up over the bets we've recorded but a single bad month can wipe out a chunk of profits. The honest answer: if you bet within your means and stick to the plan, you'll have more fun and probably do better than a coin-flip.
What's "Heavy 8" and "Good 4" mean?
Track conditions. Lower number means firmer ground. Heavy 8 is a wet track. Good 4 is firm. Different horses suit different conditions, which is most of why a "form horse" sometimes flops. Our analysis takes the going into account for you.
What's "EW", "WIN", "PLACE"?
Standard TAB bet types.
- WIN: the horse must finish first.
- PLACE: the horse must finish in the top 3 (in fields of 8 or more).
- EW (each-way): half your stake on WIN, half on PLACE. If it wins, you collect both. If it places, you collect just the place portion.
Do you place the bets for me?
No, and we never will. You always place your own bets through your own TAB account. We just tell you what we'd back and why.
Do I have to follow the plan exactly?
No. The tips are there to use however you punt. You can follow the suggested plan, treat it as a second opinion against your own selections, or use individual picks in your trifecta, quaddie or multi. The useful bit is the data-heavy race read in plain English. What you do with it is up to you.
What if someone shares the tips with me?
We know that can happen. Racing tips have always travelled by text message, group chat, and someone leaning over the barbecue saying, “have a look at this one.” We are not pretending we can stop that.
What we do ask is that if you find the tips useful, subscribe. The money pays for the AI tokens, hosting, data work, and the weekly effort that keeps the method improving. We do not need a huge subscriber base, just enough support to keep the lights on and the analysis getting better.
What about Australian races?
Not for now. We focus on New Zealand Saturday racing only, because that's the form we know best and the ground we walk on. If we ever expand, you'll be the first to know.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Weekly subscribers stop being charged immediately. One-off purchases are non-refundable once the meeting starts (because by then you've already seen the picks).
Why is the AI better than a human tipster?
It isn't always. But it's consistent, and it's unemotional. A human tipster watches a hundred races a week, has favourite horses, favourite trainers, a soft spot for the grey, a bias against the wide gate, and a Saturday afternoon mood that can swing the call. Our AI has none of that. It does the same thorough read on race seven that it does on race one, and the only thing it cares about is what the data says.
That matters more than it sounds. A lot of weekend tipsters lose money not because they don't know horses, but because they back the cute name, the sentimental favourite, or the horse that beat them last week. The AI never does any of that. No hunches, no grudges, no “I've got a feeling about this one”. Just a clinical read of the form, the sectionals, the going and the gate, and a clear pick at the end of it.
Is my information safe?
We collect your email and your weekly app settings. We don't collect your TAB account, your card details (Stripe handles that), or anything else we don't need. We don't sell data, ever.
